Usually the nickname is something special and sometimes intimate between a couple but with Xaden and Violet it’s always her real name that Xaden uses should they be in a more intimate moment

I don’t know if i like it more when Xaden calls her Violet or Violence… Because violence is often connected with a teasing manner and it shows that he truly sees Violet. When Xaden uses Violet it is always a deeper moment between the two 🥺💖

Fourth Wing rules from a disability rep perspective. The main character has EDS and is dealing with an extremely difficult military school because she has to, and one of the side characters is suuuper overprotective and trying to get her to a safer position over and over and over again and it’s such a good example of the way disabled people are denied autonomy over their choices because they’re seen as incapable and something to be protected instead of someone to empower and support
